Gambaran Histopatologi Miokardium Mencit (Mus Musculus) Setelah Pemaparan Paraquat
Herbicide is an ingredient or chemical compound used by farmers to inhibit the growth or kill of pest plants. Paraquat is one of the non-selective contact herbicides under the commercial name of gramoxone widely used in Indonesian agriculture. The use of paraquats that do not pay attention to the proper way of use can destroy various organs, one of which is the cardiac myocardium. This study aim was to determine the effect of paraquat exposure on the histopathological images of myocardial mice (Mus musculus). This study is an experimental research design with post test only with control and using 15 mice in the sample were divided into 5 groups. One group was the control group. Four groups as treatment groups received different doses of paraquat those are 25 mg / kg / day, 50 mg / kg / day, 75 mg / kg / day and 100 mg / kg / day for 7 days by spraying. Analysis of the data using One Way ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis test as an alternative. Meanwhile, to see the closeness of the relationship between variables used Whitney Man test. The results of this study indicate the effect of giving paraquat by spraying for 7 days on histopathology of myocardial mouse (Mus musculus). This study also showed an effect of increased doses of paraquat exposure to the degree myocardial damage of mice (Mus musculus) (p=0.010). Conclusion, there was a significant change in histopathology of myocardial mice (Mus musculus) after 7 days of paraquat exposure.
