Gambaran Hasil Spirometri Pada Pekerja Pabrik Di Strategic Business Unit (Sbu) Ptpn V Sei Galuh
Dust is small solid particle that carried by air. Dusts exposure for long time could cause dust cummulation in respiratory tract that could cause inflammation. The inflammation could transform the elastic respiratory tract’s tissues become the non-elastic scar tissue, until it disturb lung’s function while inspiration and expiration and also disturb gas exchange while breathing. One of the worker that exposed by dusts is palm oil factory worker at Strategic Business Unit PTPN V Sei Galuh. This research is done descriptively to determine the spirometry result on factory workers who working at SBU PTPN V Sei Galuh on 2017. The sample of this research is all medical record of worker that work at SBU PTPN V Sei Galuh with total 24 person. Based on the result of this research, 2 worker’s spirometry result had ventilatory defect as restriction (4,16%) and mixed defect (4,16%). Besd on the result of this research, most of factory worker that had ventilatory defects is a male, with over 50 years old, overweight and obesity, has been worked for more than 10 years, non-smokers, and using mask while working.
