Gambaran Histopatologi Epidermis Mencit (Mus Musculus) Setelah Pemaparan Paraquat
Paraquat is one of the most commonly used herbicide active ingredients in the world, especially in developing countries, including Indonesia. The unsuitable useage of paraquats can cause poisoning in humans. Paraquat can damages organs including the skin which can lead to systemic failure. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of paraquat towards the epidermis histopathology of mice (Mus musculus). This research is an experimental research with descriptive qualitative approach and used 15 mice as the sample which is divided into 5 groups. One group as the control. Four other groups as treatment group were exposed to different doses of paraquat, 25 mg / kgBW / day, 50 mg / kgBW / day, 75 mg / kgBW / day and 100 mg / kgBW / day for 7 days with spraying. The changes that occured on the epidermis was examined by using a microscope. The results of this study showed that the epidermal thickness of mice k1= 11.51 μm, k2 = 13.81 μm, k3 = 15.02 μm, k4 = 20.39 μm, k5 = 24.7. The Conclusion of this study is there was a histopathological of mice epidermis after paraquat exposure.
