Profil Korban Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas Berdasarkan Visum Et Repertum Di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Pekanbaru Periode 1 Januari 2012 – 31 Desember 2016
Traffic accident is one of the health problems in developing countries which have high rates of disability and traffic accident deaths. This study aims to find out the general description of the profile of traffic accident victims at Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru from January 1st , 2012 to December 31st, 2016. This study is a retrospective descriptive study which uses secondary data from Visum et Repertum (VeR) of survivors and dead victims of traffic accidents. The result shows that there are 105 survivors and 14 dead victims of traffic accidents that are vised. The highest profile of survivors is women (81.9%), age range 19-24 years (37.1%), and self-employed (43.8%). The most common types of injury on survivors were blunt injury (99.0%), with blisters (92.5%), upper extremity (41.4%) and degree 1 (58.4%). The highest profile of death victims is male (64.3%), age range 19-24 years (42.9%), self-employed (35.7%). The most common types of injury of death victims are blunt injury (100%), with blisters (36.4%), and head injury (36.2%). The most demands for VeR of the survivors was from the Police Sector of Bukit Raya, while for the death victims were from the police sectors outside Pekanbaru.
