Analisis Kejadian Gizi Lebih Dan Faktor Risiko Antara Anak Sekolah Dasar Di Daerah Perkotaan Dan Perdesaan Pekanbaru
Over-nutrition is defined as a excessive accumulation of fat in adipose tissue that poses risk on health status. Over-nutrition is prevalent among children. National basic health research (RISKESDAS) 2010 showed that over-nutrition in urban children (10.4%) was greater than in rural areas (8.1%). The purpose of this study was to analyze risk factors related to the incidence of over-nutrition on elementary students in urban and rural area in Pekanbaru. This was an observasional analytical study with cross-sectional design. This study involved 137 urban students and 85 rural students recruited by quota sampling technique. Collection data was conducted in April-May 2018. The result showed that over-nutrition was found in 42,9% of urban childrens and 18,8% of rural childrens. Bivariat test showed that there was no difference in indoor, outdoor, screen time activities, main meal frequency, breakfast, snacking, soft drink, fast food, vegetable eating and fruit eating habits among elementary students with over-nutrition between urban and rural area in Pekanbaru. In conclusion, the proportion overnutrition was higher in urban children than rural children, there were no differences on factors influencing the incidence of over-nutrition in elementary students in urban and rural areas in Pekanbaru.
