Evaluasi Program Pengembangan Destinasi Pariwisata Di Kabupaten Bengkalis (Studi Kasus Pantai Selatbaru)

The background of this research is that the development of tourism in
Bengkalis Regency is slow to develop, therefore the authors conducted research
on the tourism destination development program in Bengkalis Regency. The basis
for the author to conduct this research is based on the 2016-2021 Rensrta
Disparbudpora.
The purpose of this study was to determine the evaluation of the tourism
destination development program in Bengkalis Regency. This study uses a
qualitative method, namely through interviews with informants, namely the Head
of Tourism, Head of Tourism Development Destinations, Head of UPT Tourism
Management in Bantan District, visitors and the community.
The results of this study indicate that the evaluation of the Selatbaru
beach tourism destination development program in Bengkalis Regency is in
accordance with William N Duun's theory of policy evaluation, where the
effectiveness criteria are categorized as not good, efficiency criteria are not good,
adequacy criteria are not fully good, equity criteria are good, the responsiveness
criteria are good, and the accuracy criteria are also good.
