Rancang Bangun Sistem Penjadwalan Menggunakan Critical Path Method Pada Proyek Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Insentif Ppm Universitas Riau
The Research and Community Service Institute of Riau University has a vision in realizing a creative, innovative and competitive academics through research and community service based on science and technology in 2035, so that with an information system it can bridge research lecturers in the submitting process, validation and faster approval. This system development project is still being carried out by sorting each activity on the project regardless of which activities are critical or not. Thus, a system is needed that can identify each activity on the project so that the planned time can be achieved. The system will be built using the Critical Path Method calculation as a reference in calculating the critical time in the project. The stages in this research include literature study, data collection, manual analysis of critical path method calculations, design and implementation of scheduling systems, and system testing. Before the Critical Path Method was implemented, the total duration of project completion was 52 weeks. After implementing the Critical Path Method, it is known that the total duration of optimal project completion is 35 weeks with 15 critical activities and 3 non-critical activities. The result of this research is that the Critical Path Method can be implemented in an information system for scheduling that can display the duration of project completion, identify the project's critical path, display a project scheduling table, total critical activities, and visualize the relationship between existing activities on the project.
