ABSTACK
The intersection of Pasir Putih Street - Pandau Permai Street is a three-arm
unsignalized intersection in Kampar Regency and often experiences traffic jams.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the performance of the unsignalized
intersection of Pasir Putih Street - Pandau Permai Street. The method for
calculating the performance of this unsignalized intersection is guided by the
MKJI 1997. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the peak current
is Thursday, June 8, 2023 with the results Q = 3132,1 pcu/hour, C = 2560
pcu/hour, DS = 1.22, D = 43,38 sec/pcu with a service level of E. So that the DS
has exceeded the value required by the MKJI 1997 (DS ≤ 0.75) and the service
level has passed based on the Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 96 of
2015. After handling the intersection turned out to be effective, the DS value
becomes 0.74 and the service level becomes B so that it meets the required value.
