Analisis Efisiensi Degradasi Limbah Ampas Sagu Dan Kotoran Kambing Menggunakan Larva Black Soldier Fly (Bsf) Menjadi Kompos
The Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) is known to be able to effectively decompose various types of organic waste and convert it into compost. However, the high crude fiber content in waste will affect the effectiveness of BSF larvae to reduce the waste. The purpose of this study was to analyse the degradation efficiency of sago hampas and goat manure and the quality of decomposition residue compost using BSF larvae by variyng the ratio of sago hampas waste and goat manure composition (100:0%);(70:30%);(60:40%);and (50:50%). The experiments were conducted in a laboratory scale for 16 days using 350 larvae/bioreactor. The analyses were performed on WRI and ECD and the observation was carried out every day by measuring the level of waste reduction, and BSF larvae weight. The utilization of sago hampas that have been fermented for 3 days using EM-4 could reduce the crude fiber content of 80%, therefore increasing the efficiency of waste degradation by BSF larvae. Based on correlation analyses, it was found that the waste moisture content has significantly affected the efficiency degradation of BSF larvae with significance level of 0,0001 (P-value
