Prarancangan Pabrik Caprolactam Dari Sikloheksana Proses Beckmann Dengan Desain Alat Utama Reaktor Beckmann Rearrangement (R-102)
Imports of caprolactam are relatively large, namely around 30,000 to 35,000 tons per year. Caprolactam is produced through the Toyo Rayon Photonitrosation process. The photonitrosation process is aimed at changing the form of cyclohexane to cyclohexanone oxime through an oximation reaction with nitrosyl chloride which then goes through Beckmann preparation with trifluoroacetic acid to obtain the product caprolactam. A study of the feasibility of building a caprolactam factory is necessary for the purpose of analyzing the feasibility of investment. The analysis was carried out quantitatively based on the criteria of NPV, IRR, ROI, PBP, BEP, and sensitivity analysis. The study results show that a caprolactam factory is feasible to build with a production capacity of 30,000 tons/year. Based on non-financial analysis consisting of market, environment, management and law, there are no obstacles that hinder the construction and operation of the factory. Based on financial analysis, factory construction can be carried out with an NPV value of IDR 22,822,364,819; ROI "69.04%," PBP 1.16 years; The BEP is 61.4%, and the IRR is 22.76%, which is higher than BRI's RRR value of 2.25%, so this caprolactam factory is suitable to proceed to the development stage.
