Analisis Ketersediaan Dan Kebutuhan Komoditas Beras Di Kabupaten Siak

The purpose of this research is to determine the availability, demand for rice, and the capability of Siak Regency to meet its needs, as well as to predict the availability and demand for rice from 2023 to 2032. The method used involves gathering secondary data in the form of time series data over the last 5 years, specifically from 2018 to 2022, by inventorying information from relevant institutions. Data analysis utilizes quantitative descriptive analysis and prediction through trend analysis.
The research findings indicate that the availability and demand for rice in Siak Regency have been increasing from 2018 to 2022. However, upon comparing the availability and demand for rice, it is evident that there are 3 sub-districts with a surplus and 11 sub-districts facing deficits, signifying that Siak Regency has not been able to meet its requirements. The projected availability of rice for the next 10 years (2023-2032) shows an average increase of 36.225,0 tons per year. Meanwhile, the projected demand for rice during the same period also experiences an average increase of 70,118 tons per year.
