Prarancangan Pabrik Purified Terephthalate Acid (Pta) Dari Paraxylene Proses Bp (Amoco) Dengan Desain Alat Utama Kolom Distilasi Asam Asetat (T-101)
In the current era, the development of the chemical industry has a very important role in economic growth. The increasingly rapid development of industry can improve people's welfare in all sectors. The increasingly rapid development of industry can improve people's welfare in all sectors. The Amoco process is the most popular process and is used by almost 90% of terephthalic acid factories in the world. In the Amoco process, the Paraxylene oxidation process occurs using 3 ions as homogeneous catalysts, namely cobalt, manganese and bromide. The paraxylene oxidation process at the PTA factory is a very important process because it is the main process where the oxidation reaction of paraxylene raw materials occurs into terephthalic acid products which will then be purified. The aim of designing the Purified Terephthalate Acid (PTA) factory is to determine whether the factory is suitable or not suitable for construction. In Indonesia itself, the product, namely Purified Terephthalate Acid (PTA), can be distributed to textile industries in Indonesia which use terephthalic acid as the main raw material for making polyester raw materials.
