Pengembangan Fasilitas Di Destinasi Wisata Taman Margasatwa Dan Budaya Kinantan (Tmsbk) Kota Bukittinggi Sumatera Barat

The development of facilities at Kinantan Wildlife and Culture Park (TMSBK) has been carried out progressively. This research aims to analyze the development of facilities at the Kinantan Wildlife and Culture Park (TMSBK) tourist destination over the past five years. Using qualitative research methods, data were collected through observation, interviews with TMSBK management, and documentation. The research findings show that the development of facilities has had a significant impact on improving the quality of the tourist destination. Facilities such as the aviary, reptilarium, and glass tiger enclosure, which have become favorite attractions, the addition of educational facilities at Fort de Kock Fortress and the zoological museum, improvements to toilet and prayer room facilities, as well as the provision of clean water facilities, have enhanced visitor comfort and satisfaction. This development has also contributed to increasing the number of tourist visits and supporting the preservation of local culture. With these facility developments, TMSBK has been able to maintain its position as one of the premier tourist destinations in West Sumatra. This study recommends that facility development continue to be carried out sustainably to maintain the quality and competitiveness of the tourist destination in the future.
