Pengaruh Temperatur Weak Chlorate Heater Terhadap Ph Dan Konsentrasi Liquor Pada Naclo3 Produksi
ABSTRACT
ClO2 is an industry that produces chemicals in the form of chlorine dioxide
(ClO2). One of the supporting materials for making ClO2 is sodium chlorate using
the electrolysis method. The concentration of liquor and residual HCl needs to be
maintained to produce quality sodium chlorate by maintaining the temperature of
the weak chlorate heater. Temperature changes at this stage can have a direct
impact on liquor concentration, thus affecting the quality and quantity of the final
product. In this study aims to identify the HCl residue at weak chlorate heater
temperature will affect the pH of the liquor in the reactor and affect the efficiency
of the electrolysis reaction and determine the optimal temperature range for weak
chlorate heater operation in order to obtain maximum and efficient liquor
concentration. From the results obtained from several graphs between
temperature and NaCl 157 g/L at the generator outlet, 159.6 g/L gas separator,
NaClO3 385.2 g/L at the generator outlet, 388.6 g/L at the gas separator. residual
HCl 4.62 g/L generator outlet, 3.09 g/L at the gas separator. The effect of residual
HCl on PH with the results obtained 2.89 HCl residues with PH obtained 6.1.
