Pengaruh Faktor Temperature, Ph Dan Freeness Slush Pulp Terhadap Steam Consumption Pulp Dryer
ABSTRACT
Pulp Dryer is part of the final process in pulp processing which aims to convert slush pulp into pulp sheet with the help of steam. To reduce steam consumption, it is necessary to analyze several factors that affect steam consumption. In this final project, the influence of temperature, pH and slush pulp freeness factors on steam consumption in the Pulp Dryer is studied. Some of the factors that affect the steam consumption process include temperature, pH and freeness of slush pulp. Based on the results of the analysis obtained, the factors of temperature, pH and freeness of slush pulp have a strong influence on steam consumption. Of the three factors, the temperature of slush pulp is very influential on steam consumption compared to pH and freeness of slush pulp. The relationship between slush pulp temperature and steam consumption has a correlation with an R2 value of 0,9835.
