Evaluasi Kapasitas Penampang Sungai Kampar Terhadap Pembangunan Pengaman Tebing Sungai Kampar
ABSTRACT
Erosion can reduce the capacity of water channels. So to overcome the problem of erosion in river channels, a river bank protection structure is needed. Therefore, in this study, analyzing the capacity of the river cross-section. This study aims to determine the flow rate of the Kampar River, the depth of the Kampar River in order to determine the river discharge after the construction of the Kampar river bank protection, Rumbio Village, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. From the results of the calculations that have been carried out, several conclusions can be drawn that the construction of the bank protection greatly affects the cross-section of the river, after construction the average depth of the river is 2.5 m. So from these results it can be obtained that the discharge after construction gets a result of 56.72 m3 / second and the maximum discharge is 85.28 m3/second.
