This study aims to determine: (1) How the application of the Peer Tutoring learning method affects cognitive learning outcomes in Class X History Learning at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. (2) Is there an influence of the use of the Peer Tutoring Learning Method in improving the cognitive learning outcomes of class X students at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru? (3) How big is the influence of the use of the Peer Tutoring Learning Method in improving the cognitive learning outcomes of class X students at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. This study used a Quasi-Experimental design with experimental and control groups. These results show a significant difference between student learning outcomes in the Experimental group using the Peer Tutoring learning method. This can be seen from the results of the t-test which produced a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected (0.000
