pengaruh beban kerja dan manajemen waktu terhadap kompetensi kepribadian guru sd kecamatan lirik kabupaten indragiri hulu
This study aims to analyze the influence of two independent variables (1) workload and (2) time management on the dependent variable (3) personality competence of elementary school teachers in Lirik District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. Personality competence is a crucial aspect that supports teachers’ professionalism and effectiveness in fulfilling their role as educators and role models within the school environment. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method, in which questionnaires were randomly distributed to 139 teachers respondents. Data was analyzed using multiple linier regression to determine the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable.
The analysis results revealed that workload has a positive and significant influence on teachers’ personality competence, with a regression coefficient of 0,297. Meanwhile, time management had a stronger influence, with a coefficient of 0,629. The multiple linear regression test showed that both variables simultaneously contributed 61,2% to personality competence, while the remaining 38,8% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
These findings highlight that effective workload management and strong time management skills are key factors in shaping and enhancing teachers’ personality competence. Therefore, institutional support and policies that promote work efficiency, reduce administrative burdens, and strengthen time management skills are essential for creating a supportive work environment. Such efforts are vital for maintaining emotional stability, enhancing teacher professionalism, and ultimately improving the quality of education through the development of teachers’ personality competence in a sustainable manner.
