This study aims to describe the forms of affixation errors in descriptive texts by class VII students of SMPIT Darul Fikri Pangkalan Kerinci. The data obtained from this study are in the form of descriptive texts by class VII students of SMPIT Darul Fikri which contain errors in the use of affixation. The sampling technique in this study is saturated sampling or census method. With the saturated sampling technique, the author uses all members of the population into the sample. The total number of class VII students of SMPIT Darul Fikri is 51 people. The data collection method in this study uses a writing test technique for students. The data in this study are language errors in the use of affixation, both prefixation, suffixation, infixation, and confixation in writing descriptive texts by class VII students of SMPIT Darul Fikri Pangkalan Kerinci. The data source in this study is the writing of class VII students of SMPIT Darul Fikri Pangkalan Kerinci with a population of 51 people. The results of this study indicate that there are still some students who are wrong and mistaken in the use of affixation. Affixation errors made by students include prefixation, suffixation, and confixation. The number of prefixation errors in this study was 28 data, suffixation errors found were 12 data, and confixation errors found were 24 data..
