Hubungan Soft Skill, Minat Kerja Dan Hard Skill Dengan Kesiapan Kerja Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Dan Bisnis Universitas Riau
ABSTRACT
Work readiness is a condition that indicates a person's physical condition, mental maturity, and experience, where the person has the ability to carry out a job that has been pursued. Soft skills, work interest, and hard skills are three factors that are theoretically suspected to influence the improvement of student work readiness. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between soft skills, work interest, and hard skills with the work readiness of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business class of 2022 who feel ready to enter the world of work after completing their studies. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires. The number of respondents was 259 students, selected based on the criteria of students who feel ready to enter the world of work. Data were analyzed using the Pearson Bivariate correlation test with the help of SPSS version 27. The results of this study indicate that the three independent variables have a significant relationship with student work readiness. First, soft skills have a positive and significant relationship with work readiness. Second, work interest has a positive and significant relationship with work readiness. Third, hard skills have a positive and significant relationship with work readiness. Overall, these results prove that soft skills, work interest and hard skills are important factors that influence the work readiness of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau.
