Profil Sikap Ilmiah Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Ipa Di Smp Negeri Kota Pekanbaru Yang Menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014
The purpose of this study is to describe scientific attitude on science subject at State Junior High School in Pekanbaru that have implemented Curriculum 2013. The schools that have implemented the Curriculum in 2013 which SMP N 1 Pekanbaru, SMP N 6 Pekanbaru, and SMP N 23 Pekanbaru. This study was conducted in February until June 2014. Instruments that used is classroom observation sheets and enclosed questionnaire. Observed scientific attitude is composed of six indicators, curiosity, cooperation, tolerance, dicipline, confidence, and responsibility. Observation sheets filled based on descriptions that have been determined. Questionnaire consists of 20 statements. All the items of enclosed questionnaire is valid and reliable, the reliability coefficient using alpha Cronbach of 0.748. Samples in this study were 443 students at State Junior High School in Pekanbaru that have implemented Curriculum 2013 (53.76% of the population) were selected by quota sampling technique. Data that have been collected analyse by descriptive. The results of the data’s analysis showed that the scientific attitude of students on science subject at State Junior High School in Pekanbaru that have implemented Curriculum 2013 categorized “enough” by average 70.36% based on observations and 74.87% based on questionnaires. This suggests that the scientific attitude of students are quite good on science subject.
