Abstract
This research was conducted on November 22 2022 to December 09 2022 with the aim of analyzing how much influence production factors influence the catch of trawl fishermen and knowing the income of fishermen who use trawl fishing gear in the Kepenghuluan Sungai Bakau, Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency Riau Province. The method used in this study was a survey by determining the sample using the total sampling or census method. The number of samples taken was 32 fishermen who used trawl fishing gear. The results in this study are that the number of settings, fishing experience, and fishing ground the production of trawl fish catches, while the number of crew members does not have a significant influence on the production of fishing using trawl fishing gear and the total net income or profit earned by fishermen is calculated for 20 trips/month, fishermen using 2 GT vessels amounting to IDR21.225.444,44 and those using 3 GT vessels amounting to IDR24.561.571,43 in peak season. In the middle season, fishermen's income is calculated for 20 trips/month using 2 GT vessels of IDR11.877.666,67 and those using 3 GT vessels of IDR14.690.142,86.
