The formulation of the problems of this study are, 1) how high are the hope of couples of childbearing age in the Mekar Wangi KB Village, Tangkerang Barat Village, Marpoyan Damai District? 2) Does the hope of couples of childbearing age in Mekar Wangi KB Village vary by factors of age, marital age, number of children and education level?
The objectives of this study are, 1) to determine the level of hope of couples of childbearing age in Kampung KB Mekar Wangi, Tangkerang Barat Village, Marpoyan Damai Subdistrict. 2) to determine the variation in the level of hope of couples of childbearing age in Mekar Wangi KB Village based on the factors of age, marital age, number of children and education level.
This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were couples of childbearing age who were in RW 08, RT 03 Tangkerang Barat Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, totaling 70 couples. This study focused on women because women's groups are more involved in the programs run in the Mekar Wangi KB Village. This research uses a proportionate stratified technique. Proportionate stratified random sampling is used if the population has members / elements that are not homogeneous and proportionally stratified. The sample in this study amounted to 60 couples. The instrument trial was conducted on 30 couples of childbearing age in the Quality Family Village Mekar Wangi RW 08 RT 04 Tangkerang Barat Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. Based on the conceptual definition of hope indicators in this study are: 1) motivation, 2) trust, 3) optimism, 4) desire, 5) perception. The data collection method in this research is by questionnaire.
Based on the analysis of the results obtained, the level of hope of couples of childbearing age in Kampung KB Mekar Wangi, Tangkerang Barat Village, Marpoyan Damai District is high with a mean value obtained of 4.03. This study also found variations in the level of hope of couples of childbearing age in Mekar Wangi KB Village based on the factors of age, marital age, number of children and education level for couples of childbearing age in Tangkerang Barat Village, Marpoyan Damai Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City, there is no variation, but overall high results are obtained, namely with a mean of 4.03. However, it can be increased again to get maximum results, namely with a mean of 4.03. However, it can be improved again to get maximum results, namely reaching a very high level.
The conclusion of this study is that the level of hope of couples of childbearing age in Kampung KB Mekar Wangi, Tangkerang Barat Village, Marpoyan Damai District is high. The motivation indicator is the highest indicator of all indicators, then followed by indicators of perception, desire, optimism and trust. Then it was found that there were no differences in the hope of couples of childbearing age in Kampung KB Mekar Wangi Kelurahan Tangkerang Barat Kecamatan Marpoyan based on the factors of age, age of marriage, number of children and education level.
