The aims of this research are 1) to determine the level of youth social care through youth youth activities in Segati village Langgam District Pelalawan Regency.
This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was youth aged 20-25 years in Segati Village Langgam District Pelalawan Regency, totaling 163 youth aged 20-25 years. The sampling technique using Simple Random Sampling is a method of drawing from a population or universe in a certain way so that each member of the population or universe has the same opportunity to be selected or taken, using the Slovin formula, the sample is 62 young people aged 20-25 years.
The data collection method in this research is in the form of a questionnaire. The research instrument goes through several stages, namely: 1) reviewing all theories related to the variables to be studied, 2) compiling indicators for each variable, 3) compiling a grid, 4) compiling statement items and determining a measurement scale, 5 ) trial of the instrument, 6) analysis of the question items by testing the validity and reliability of each statement item. Data collection in this research used a questionnaire. With a total research sample of 62 people, the trial was carried out in Segati Village Langgam District Pelalawan Regency on 30 young people aged 20-25 years.
Based on descriptive analysis, the mean value of social care based on each indicator is at a mean value of 3.34, which is interpreted as medium. The highest indicator is social action with a mean value of 3.57 which is quite high, next is helping with a mean value of 3.26 which is moderate, and the indicator which has the lowest mean value is tolerance/empathy with a value The mean of 3.20 is in the middle interpretation.
The conclusion of this research explains that based on indicators, social care in Segati Village Langgam District Pelalawan Regency obtained a mean score of 3.34 in the medium interpretation, meaning that social care for youth through youth activities in Segati Village Langgam District Pelalawan Regency is classified as moderate, but still needs improvement.
