This study was conducted in Semukut Village, Merbau Island District, Meranti Islands Regency, aiming to determine the Social and Economic Impact of International Migration carried out circularly in Semukut village. This study applies a Descriptive Quantitative method with Cross Tabulation analysis and a case approach that is traced with the Snowball technique, 36 migrants were found. Data collection was carried out by Observation, Survey, Interview, and Documentation. The findings obtained that the work that International Migrants are interested in is the Construction field, then the amount of money earned by migrants while working the majority ranges from Rp.254.800.00 – Rp. 345.800.00 IDR per day. And the Social impact is a change in communication patterns between fellow family members, and an increase in social status in the community.
