Analisis Dampakmail Order Bride Serta Respon Pemerintah Indonesia Pada Tahun 2019-2020

This article explains how the Indonesian Government is trying to handle the Mail Order Bride cases which are currently occurring in Indonesia. The Mail Order Bride case is a mode of Transnational Crime (Human Trafficking) which in its handling requires assistance from many parties such as family and neighborhood as well as government officials who work in the field of marriage matters. The importance of knowing the dangerous impacts of Mail Order Bride is also useful for protecting yourself from the dangers of Human Trafficking.
This research uses qualitative methods, with data collection techniques through literature studies sourced from several books, journals, articles, websites. This research uses a Mercantilism perspective and cooperation theory international.
The results of this research show that the Indonesian Government has made a lot of efforts to handle the Mail Order Bride case. The efforts made include passing a law that specifically regulates Transnational Crime (Human Trafficking), then intensively providing outreach about the dangers of Mail Order Brides in the community, especially in remote areas. The Indonesian government is also carrying out rehabilitation for mail order bride victims so that the mental stress experienced by the victims can be resolved properly.
