Analisis Kinerja Heat Recovery System Di Pulp Dryer
ABSTRACT
Pulp Dryer is one of the important business units of pulp and paper companies in pulp production that will produce slush pulp into pulp sheet. The main process in producing slush pulp into pulp sheet is the drying process. The drying process occurs in the dryer, where the dryer will require heat to dry the pulp sheet. Heat recovery system is one of the components in the drying process in the dryer. Calculation of the heat balance in the heat recovery system is carried out to determine the performance of the drying process with heat utilization which will affect the performance and total production produced. Based on the data that has been used, the heat recovery system efficiency is obtained in the range of 91% to 95.91% which meets the TAPPI efficiency standard.
