Peran Ganda Perempuan Juru Parkir Di Kota Pekanbaru

This research was conducted in Pekanbaru City, specifically in the Tampan District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, with the aim of understanding how women working as parking attendants divide their time between being housewives and parking attendants, and to explore the dual role of women as parking attendants in supporting the family’s economic interests. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The research involves four informants. Data were collected through interviews and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that women who take on dual roles as parking attendants and housewives are able to divide their time between working as parking attendants and fulfilling their duties as housewives with different strategies, adjusting to their public and domestic responsibilities, so that both roles can be performed well and balanced. In addition, women with dual roles as parking attendants make a significant contribution to the family’s economic interests.
