Identifikasi Profil Fitokimia Daun Tampoi (Baccaurea Macrocarpa (Miq.) Mull.Arg.) Menggunakan Metode Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry
Tampoi leaves (Baccaurea macrocarpa (Miq.) Mull.Arg.) are known to contain various secondary metabolites that contribute to their biological activities, including antioxidant and antibacterial properties, as well as the ability to enhance erythrocyte and hemoglobin levels. This study aimed to comprehensively identify the phytochemical profile of tampoi leaves as a basis for understanding the mechanisms underlying these biological effects. Extraction was carried out using a solid phase extraction method with methanol as the solvent. The phytochemical profile was analyzed using Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry in positive ionization mode, and the results were interpreted using MassLynx software. LC-MS analysis revealed 60 molecular formulas in the methanolic extract of tampoi leaves. Among these, 39 molecular formulas were successfully identified with corresponding compound names and structures, while 21 formulas did not match any entries in the database. The identified compounds were classified into 12 groups, coumarin, amino acid, glycosides, flavonoids, inositols, tannin, terpenoids, jasmonic acids, alkaloids, saponin, phenols, and fatty acids. Terpenoids were the most predominant group, represented by 9 compounds. Vitexin and linolenic acid showed the highest chromatographic peak intensities, indicating their relatively high abundance in the methanolic extract of tampoi leaves.
Key findings: Chromatogram, LC-MS, MassLynx, phytochemical, tampoi.
