pengaruh efektivitas penggunaan ice breaking terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas vii pada mata pelajaran ips di smp negeri 4 pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of ice-breaking activities on the learning motivation of seventh-grade students in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. This research uses quantitative method. The sampling procedure used in this study is probability sampling with propotional random sampling type, 204 students were determined as the research sample. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, which were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it shows that the effectiveness of the use of ice breaking (X) has a positive and significant effect on learning motivation (Y) of seventh grade students in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. This is based on the results of the t-test (partial) which shows the tcount value of 8.160> ttable 1.972 with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. This means that the effectiveness of using ice breaking has a positive effect on student learning motivation. This shows that the more effective the use of ice breaking, the higher the student learning motivation.
