Sintesis Dan Uji Toksisitas Dua Analog Kurkumin Dari Sikloheksanon Dengan Turunan Dimetoksibenzaldehid
SUMMARY
Curcumin is one of secondary metabolites classified into the class of fenolic that are known to have biological activities such as anticancer, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Curcumins become model of target compounds that have various structure. The curcumin analogue compounds of cyclohexanone derivate has been syntesized under microwave irradiation by using NaOH. The purity of all compounds has been tested by using TLC, melting point test and analytical HPLC. Then they are identified by using UV, IR, 1H-NMR and MS spectroscopy. Toxicity test was determined using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method to Artemia Salina Leach. The rendement results of this research from (2E,6E)-2,6-bis(2,3-dimethoxybenzylidene)-cyclohexanone (DK1) and (2E,6E)-2,6-bis(3,4-dimethoxy benzylidene)-cyclohexanone (DK2) were 78,33% and 29,86% respectively. The toxicity test showed with value LC50 < 200 ppm. The results showed that DK1 and DK2 is not toxic that have LC50 > 200 ppm, were 18,578 ppm and 1,528 ppm, respectively.
