Potensi Tanaman Azolla (Azolla Pinnata) Sebagai Fitoremediator Ion Timbal (Ii), Ion Kadmium (Ii) Dan Ion Kromium (Vi)
ABSTRACT
Potency of Azolla (Azolla pinnata) was tested for Pb, Cd dan Cr phytoremediator. In the study, azolla plant will be grown in a glass reactor containing simulation solution of lead, cadmium and chromium ions with a concentration each of 25 mg/L during exposure time 0; 3; 6; 12 and 15 days. Processing techniques polluted environment using plants known as phytoremediation. Analysis of lead and cadmium in the simulation solution and azolla plant using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) and the chromium analysis using UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. Results of the highest percent absorption efficiency of Pb, Cd and Cr by azolla plant, respectively are 58,14%; 40,32% dan 32,55%. Value bioconcentration factor (BCF) is the highest of Pb, Cd and Cr, respectively are 13,8133; 11,7235 dan 8,5426. Based on the results of the study concluded that the plant Azolla (Azolla pinnata) potential as phytoremediator ions of lead, cadmium and chromium because it is able to absorb Pb, Cd and Cr accumulate such metals ion in other plant parts as indicated by the value of BCF obtained greater than 1 which indicated that the plant have the ability as a metals ion accumulator Pb, Cd and Cr.
