ANALISIS PROFIL BEBAN TERHADAP DAYA KELUARAN ROOFTOP PV DI FAKULTAS TEKNIK UNIVERSITAS RIAU
              Riau University's Faculty of Engineering has three electricity usage sections as 
follows: Faculty of Engineering Distribution Substation with social electricity 
service group 3 and power capacity of 690 kVA, Dean Building with social 
electricity service group 2 and power capacity of 197 kVA, and Petrochemical 
Building with social electricity service group 2 and power capacity of 131 kVA. This 
research aims to analyze the electrical load profile on the power and output energy 
of the Rooftop PV (Photovoltaic) system at the Faculty of Engineering, Riau 
University. The focus of the research is to determine the power at daily, weekly, 
monthly, annual loads, as well as electrical energy usage for a year. The 
methodology used in this research includes measuring the load for a month using a 
Power Quality Analyzer and taking electricity account data for a year. The data is 
then used to determine the load curve at each period and determine the desired 
output comparison. From the calculation and analysis of the load curve, the 
average power of the Faculty of Engineering is 138.54 kW and the average output 
power of Rooftop PV is 210.84 kW in a year. While the total electrical energy 
consumption of the Faculty of Engineering is 1,217.7 MWh and the energy 
production of Rooftop PV is 1,846.7 MWh in a year. Thus, the production of Rooftop 
PV electrical energy in the Faculty of Engineering building of Riau University can 
supply electrical energy needs in full and has excess electrical energy of 629 MWh 
with a percentage of about 52% in a year.
