Operation of trammel net fishing gear is carried out in the morning and night, shrimp and fish are caught which have different behaviors and presences in the waters. The purpose of this research was to determine the differences in trammel net catches in the morning and night and the comparison of catches in terms of weight (kg), individuals (tails), types (species). The method used was the survey method.
Based on the calculation of the normality test, the morning and night catches are normally distributed and suitable for further analysis because the significance value of all data is greater than 0.05. The catch at night in more species than in the morning, the t test value is Thit = 8.230> Ttab = 2.048, then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a difference in species of morning and night catches. The night catch in weight (kg) is more than the morning, the t test value is Thit = 6.866> Ttab = 2.048, then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means there is a difference in weight (kg) of morning and night catches. The catch at night is more in individuals (tails) than in the morning, the t test value is Thit = 48.611 > Ttab = 2.048, then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected which means there is a difference in individuals (tails) of morning and night catches. Multiple linear regression results show that current speed, temperature, salinity have no effect because the p value is greater than 0.05.
