Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kinerja Sumber Daya Manusia Karyawan Di Pt. Indah Kiat Pulp And Paper Perawang
ABSTRACT
PT. Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Perawang is a company in the pulp and paper
industry that in its operations requires quality human resources (HR) to achieve
optimal performance. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence
employee performance in the HRD and Administration Division, with a focus on
work motivation and work environment. The method used is quantitative
descriptive with a survey approach. The population and sample of the study
amounted to 30 employees who were taken by census. Data collection was carried
out through questionnaires and interviews, while data analysis used multiple linear
regression to determine the effect of independent variables on performance, and
SWOT analysis to formulate performance improvement strategies. The results of
the study indicate that work motivation and work environment have a significant
effect on employee performance. Dominant factors that influence performance
include physiological needs, a sense of security, and the availability of work
facilities. The adjusted R² value of 0.964 indicates that 96.4 percent of the variation
in employee performance can be explained by the two variables, while the
remaining 4.6 percent is influenced by other factors outside the research model. The
SWOT analysis produces a number of priority strategies for sustainable
performance improvement. These findings are expected to be recommendations for
companies in making strategic policies in the field of HR management.
