Pengembangan Alat Peniris Minyak Goreng (Spinner) Menggunakan Metode Analitycal Hierarchy Process (Ahp)
ABSTRACT
Excessive use of oil in fried foods can have a negative impact on health, so a tool is needed that can reduce oil levels effectively. This study aims to develop a cooking oil drainer (spinner) with the addition of speed control and time control features (timer), and uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method as the basis for design decision making. The AHP process involved three experts to assess six main criteria: Performance, Functional, Durability, Serviceability, Ergonomic, and Aesthetics as well as 10 small and medium business actors or consumers. The results of the analysis showed that Performance was the most dominant criterion with a weight of 0.316, indicating that machine performance was the main priority. Important sub-criteria that support this aspect are the speed control feature and the use of an automatic timer, which are considered to greatly support efficiency and convenience for users, especially business actors. Of the two design alternatives analyzed, Alternative II was chosen as the optimal design because it was able to accommodate the results of the AHP. Thus, the AHP method has proven to be efficient in setting priorities and supporting technical decisions in the development of this tool.
