Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Yang Diaplikasikan Kombinasi Pupuk Polyhalite Dan Kcl Pada Tanah Dystrudepts

ABSTRACT
Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is widely cultivated in Indonesia, especially in
Riau Province, where many plantations are located on marginal soils like sandytextured
Dystrudepts which have high percolation and nutrient leaching. To
address this, slow-release fertilizers like Polyhalite are suitable but require
potassium supplementation, such as with KCI. This study aims to examine the
effects of Polyhalite and the combination of Polyhalite with KCl, as well as to
determine the best combination for the growth and yield of oil palm in
Dystrudepts soil. This study was conducted in a smallholder oil palm plantation in
Petapahan Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The
research lasted for eight months, from April to December 2024. The research
design used is a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatments used
were NPK 3.3 kg, Polyhalite 2 kg + KCI 1.4 kg, Polyhalite 4.1 kg + KCl 1 kg,
Polyhalite 6.1 kg + KCI 0.5 kg and Polyhalite 8.1 kg. Data from the analysis of
variance that had a graficant effect was further tested using Duncan's New
Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at the 5% level. The parameters observed were
increase in plant height, midrib length, number of leaflets, leaf length, leaf width,
increase in the number of bunches and increase in bunch weight. The results of the
eight-month study indicated that the application of Polyhalite and its combination
with KCI had a significant effect on the parameters increase in plant height,
midrib length and increase in bunch weight. The application of Polyhalite and its
combination with KCI had no significant effect on the parameters of number of
leaflets, leaf length, leaf width and increase in the number of bunches. The best
combination for increasing bunch weight was Polyhalite 75% + KCl 25%.
