Analisis Penentuan Pemasok Tandan Buah Segar (Tbs) Dengan Menggunakan Metode Ahp Dan Topsis Pada Ptpn Iv Regional Iii Sei Pagar
ABSTRACT
Inconsistent quality and reliability of fresh fruit bunch (FFB) supplies posed
major challenges for palm oil companies in maintaining efficient and stable
operations. Selecting an FFB supplier was essential to ensure sustainable factory
operations and maintain production quality standards. This study aimed to
determine the most appropriate FFB supplier for PTPN IV Regional III Sei Pagar
by applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to weight evaluation criteria
and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS)
to rank alternative suppliers. Results showed that technical compliance and
consistent quality were the most influential criteria. Plasma suppliers ranked highest
due to strong integration with company processes, better control of harvesting, and
high compliance with operational standards. KKPA suppliers ranked second, with
performance varying across farmer groups. Third-party suppliers ranked lowest,
primarily due to limited oversight and inconsistent product quality. Findings
confirmed that plasma suppliers were the most reliable in meeting operational
requirements, while third-party suppliers, despite offering lower prices, lacked
consistency and compliance. The combined use of AHP and TOPSIS supported a
more objective, comprehensive, and strategic approach in selecting suppliers for
FFB procurement.
