Perancangan Sensor Microwave Dengan Teknik Kapasitif Kopling Untuk Pengukuran Konsentrasi Limbah Pestisida Pada Pertanian Air
ABSTRACT
This research designed a microwave sensor for measuring pesticide residue concentration in agricultural water, operating at a frequency range of 1-3 GHz. The sensor utilizes two types of substrates: Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) with a thickness of 0.135 mm and FR-4 with a thickness of 1.6 mm. To achieve high sensitivity, the sensor employs a capacitive coupling technique to produce a narrow bandwidth. The bandwidth obtained was 20 MHz for both the PET and FR-4 substrates. This narrow bandwidth is crucial for clearly observing frequency shifts, which indicate sample concentration. Testing was conducted on three categories of pesticide waste samples: heavy, medium, and light. Sample concentrations ranged from 0% to 100%, with increments of 10% for each sample. For the heavy category pesticide waste sample, Noxone-297 SL, which has an LD₅₀ Oral of 22 mg/kg, the frequency shift ranged from 1.078 GHz to 1.165 GHz, with random S11 values between -15.40 dB and -19.37 dB. The pH meter readings decreased from 6.09 to 1.94. For the medium category pesticide waste sample, Curacron 500 EC, with an LD₅₀ Oral of 358 mg/kg, an upward frequency shift was observed, starting from 1.078 GHz up to 1.177 GHz. The S11 values showed random increases within the range of -17.65 dB to -22.63 dB. The pH meter readings for this sample decreased from 6.09 to 0.93. For the light category pesticide waste sample, Antracol 70 WP, with an LD₅₀ Oral of 2000 mg/kg, a frequency shift to a higher range occurred, from 1.078 GHz up to 1.192 GHz. The S11 values were random, falling between -17.65 dB and -25.08 dB. The pH meter readings for this sample initially stood at 6.09, then increased to 6.76. The accuracy of these measurements is very high, with a repeatability difference of only 0.002 GHz.
