Pengaruh Pupuk Organik Super K Dengan Berbagai Dosis Perlakuan Terhadap Waktu Muncul Bunga Dan Produksi Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.)
ABSTRACT
Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is a major plantation commodity in Indonesia,
particularly in Riau Province, due to its high potential for development and its role
in producing vegetable oil. As of 2022, Indonesia's oil palm plantation area reached
14.98 million hectares, with 2.85 million hectares located in Riau, accounting for
20% of the national total. Delayed flowering and slow floral development are key
factors limiting oil palm productivity. Accelerating flower emergence can help
improve yields, and proper fertilization especially with potassium (K), which
supports carbohydrate formation and photosynthesis translocation is essential in
this process. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of Super K organic fertilizer at
different doses on the flowering time and yield of oil palm. The experiment was
conducted using a randomized complete design with four treatment levels: K1 (3
kg/plant), K2 (4 kg/plant), K3 (5 kg/plant), and K4 (6 kg/plant). Observed
parameters included time of spathe emergence, flower appearance, female flower
receptivity, male flower anthesis, sex ratio, fruit maturity duration, number of
harvested fruits, and bunch weight per plant. Data were analyzed using ANOVA
and DNMRT at a 5% significance level with SPSS. The results showed that
applying 5 kg of Super K fertilizer per plant significantly influenced fruit maturity
duration and bunch weight per plant.
