ABSTRACT
This study investigates the characteristics of business owners and the impact of display case utilization on the profit margins of Wet Cake Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pekanbaru City. The research adopts a pre-post design, comparing income data before and after the implementation of display case services. The target population includes wet cake MSME owners who utilize such services. Using Arikunto’s sampling technique, 10% to 30% of an estimated 140 businesses were selected as the study sample. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and interviews. The findings reveal a statistically significant increase in profits, with a significance value of 0.000, indicating that the use of display cases contributed meaningfully to the improvement in MSME profitability.
