This study aims to describe the use of the meaning of coordinating conjunctions in the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques using observation and note- taking. The main focus is to identify the types of meanings of coordinating conjunctions found in the novel and provide sentence examples for each. The analysis reveals ten types of coordinating conjunction meanings used: addition, choice, contrast, correction, emphasis, limitation, sequence, equivalence, explanation, and conclusion. Among these, the meaning of addition is the most dominant, while the meaning of limitation was not found.Examples of conjunctions in the novel such as and, or, even, instead, then, and thus indicate that conjunctions serve not only as connectors of elements but also as meaning enhancers in the narrative. These findings suggest that coordinating conjunctions play an essential role in building sentence structure and the logic of the story in literary texts. This study is expected to contribute to syntactic studies in fictional texts and serve as a reference for future research.
