Determinan Pengangguran Terdidik Di Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
This study is addressed to evaluated the effect of age, gender, educational level, and marital status on the chances of someone becoming educated unemployed in Riau Province. The National Labor Force Survey of Riau Province in August 2023 is used as the main data source. The study used the binary logistic regression method with SPSS Version 25. Simultaneously, the variables of age, gender, educational level, and marital status have influence on increasing the chances of someone becoming educated unemployed. Subjects who have the chance to become educated unemployed are dominated by young people (15-24 years), women, high school graduates/equivalent, and unmarried. Young people (15-24 years) have a greater chance than adults (15-64 years), women have a greater chance than men, high school graduates/equivalent have a greater chance than diploma and higher degrees, and unmarried marital status has a greater chance than those who are married.
