Analisis Daya Saing Ekspor Teh Hitam Indonesia Di Pasar Internasional Tahun 2014-2023
ABSTRACT
The objectives of this study were (a) to analyze how the comparison of the potential
competitiveness of tea exports of Indonesia, China, India, Sri Lanka, and Kenya in
the international market in terms of comparative advantage and (b) to analyze the
position of tea exports of the five countries in the international market whether they
tend to be exporters or importers and (c) to analyze the RCA and ISP of Indonesian
black tea in the next 5 years. The method used in this study is a quantitative method
with Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and Index of Trade Specialization
(ISP) analysis tools to see the black tea export position of Indonesia, China, India,
Sri Lanka, and Kenya tend to be black tea exporting countries in the international
market as well as analysis of the value of RCA and ISP of black tea in the next 5
years.
The results showed the competitiveness of black tea exports of Indonesia, China,
India, Sri Lanka, and Kenya conducted through the RCA test, the average for
Indonesia was 1.78, China 0.57, India 9.69, Sri Lanka 281.41, and Kenya 1049.6.
Based on the test results Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, and Kenya in 2014-2023 have
black tea competitiveness in the international market because the resulting RCA is
greater than 1 (RCA>1) and China in 2014-2023 does not have black tea
competitiveness in the international market because the resulting RCA is smaller
than 1 (RCA
