PENGEMBANGAN ALAT PELONTAR SHUTTLECOCK SEDERHANA DALAM MEMBANTU PROSES LATIHAN PB PERTAMINA HULU ROKAN
ABSTRACT
This research aims to develop training media Shuttlecock Launcher, a training tool for the sport of badminton. This shuttlecock launcher was developed to assist in the training process. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a five-step approach, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The trial was conducted on 30 athletes from the Pertamina Hulu Rokan Badminton Club. In the product development stage, validation was conducted in two phases by media experts and material experts to ensure the quality of the design and the effectiveness of the developed tool. The results of the first stage validation by media experts showed a percentage of 75% (feasible), and for the second stage, it obtained a percentage of 94% (very feasible). Meanwhile, the first stage validation by content experts obtained a percentage of 70% (feasible), and the second stage showed a percentage of 90% (very feasible). Additionally, the results of the limited trials on research subjects yielded a percentage of 85% (very effective) and the results of the field trials obtained a percentage of 87% (very effective), indicating that this tool is highly suitable for use as a training medium. With these results, the Shuttlecock Launcher is expected to become an innovative solution in supporting technology-based training programs.
