MOTIVATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES IN THE HR
AND GENERAL SECTION OF PTPN IV REGIONAL III KEBUN SEI

ABSTRACT
This research was conducted at PTPN IV Regional III Kebun Sei Galuh which
is located in Pantai Cermin Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, Riau. The
aim of this research is to find out the influence of work discipline, work environment
and motivation on the performance of employees in the HR and general departments
of PTPN IV Regional III Kebun Sei Galuh. This research is quantitative research.
The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Data processing
was carried out using the SPSS 24 application. The population in this study was all
employees of the human resources and general departments of PTPN IV Regional
III Kebun Sei Galuh, totaling 75 employees. The sampling technique chosen was
saturated sampling or census method because the population was less than 100.
The results of this research show that: 1) Discipline has a positive and significant
effect on employee performance at PTPN IV Regional III Kebun Sei Galuh, 2) The
work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at
PTPN IV Regional III Kebun Sei Galuh, 3) Work motivation has a positive and
significant effect on employee performance at PTPN V Kebun Sei Galuh, 4)Work
discipline, work environment and motivation have a positive and significant effect
on the performance of PTPN IV Regional III Kebun Sei Galuh employees.
