Implementasi Nilai Multikultural Dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah Dengan Pendekatan VCT Untuk Menumbuhkan Motivasi Siswa Kelas XI IPS 2 SMAN 1 Kubu, Rohil
This research is motivated by history learning which only remembers
historical events without including or assisting students in finding a value that
they consider important, causing students to still be confused in determining
attitudes and students being less aware of their multicultural values so that
students' motivation is low in learning. The purpose of this study is to implement
multicultural values in history learning with the Value Clarification Technique
(VCT) approach to foster student motivation. The research method used is
Classroom Action Research (CAR) in the form of descriptive. Data collection that
has been used is observation and documentation. The data analysis technique in
this study used descriptive analysis to describe the results of student motivation
through observation sheets after using the VCT approach. The research data
shows the multicultural value of 82%, in the first cycle of teacher activity 60.7%,
student activity 567, and student learning motivation 74% and in the second cycle
there is an increase where the average teacher activity is 82.1%, student activity is
621, and 87% of students' learning motivation, this increase occurred after using
the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) approach in history subjects.
