Analisis Sikap Konsumen Dalam Pembelian Gula Aren Di Pasar Modern Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu
ABSTRACT
This research aims to find out the characteristics and attitudes of consumers in purchasing palm sugar and the relationship between consumer characteristics and the choice of type of palm sugar when purchasing palm sugar. This research was conducted at the Modern Market, Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive analysis, Fishbein multiattributes, Cartesian diagrams, and crosstabs. The research results showed that 66.6% of consumers bought mixed palm sugar and 33.3% bought pure palm sugar. Mixed palm sugar consumers have an average age of 38 years, have a high school education and the majority work as housewives with family members of 3-4 people, with an average income of IDR 3,180,000. Meanwhile, consumers of pure palm sugar have an average age of 44 years, have a bachelor's degree or high school education and the majority work as civil servants and domestic workers with family members of 5-6 people, with an average income of IDR 6,150,000. The attitude of consumers of pure palm sugar in Pasar Modern, Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency shows a positive value towards the attributes of palm sugar, while the attitude of consumers of mixed palm sugar shows a neutral value and there are 2 relationships that have a significant influence between consumer characteristics and the choice of type of palm sugar in purchasing palm sugar in Modern Market, Rambah District Rokan Hulu Regency.
