Pengembangan Modul Ekonomi Berbasis Problem Based Learning Pada MAN 1 Pekanbaru
Based on the results of observations conducted at MAN Kota Pekanbaru, economic learning carried out still tends to be teacher-centered. Awareness of students in learning is still lacking. In learning students and teachers only use textbooks that are loaned by libraries that have not fully led to contextualism, even then not all students take it, so that the learning resources possessed by students are still relatively lacking and learners only depend on explanations and notes from the teacher this inhibits students to be able to learn independently. The field of economics has characteristics one of which is the analysis of problem solving methods, therefore the writer is called to create teaching materials in the form of economic modules based on Problem Based Learning in class X on Pekanbaru city MAN , which is equipped with several conveniences including learning scenarios that are distinguished by ordinary economic textbooks.
This study aims to determine the effect of (1) the development of a problem based learning economic module in Pekanbaru City MAN, and (2) the results of the feasibility test for the development of a problem based learning economic module in Pekanbaru City MAN. This research is a development (R & D) with 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) and PBL based (Problem Based Learning). This research was conducted in December 2017 to January 2018 in MAN City of Pekanbaru. The subjects of this study were students of class X (ten) with a total of 108 students. Data collection techniques in this study use; (1) observation, and (2) questionnaire. Data analysis techniques were carried out using descriptiv statistics..
The results showed as follows: (1) the development of PBL-based economic modules through 4 stages, namely define phase is the initial stage of module needs analysis with observation and literature. The design phase is done by designing and making modules according to the draft module. The stage of development is done by the validation of material experts, media experts, linguists and small-scale tests to students of class X MAN Kota Pekanbaru, (2) the results of the validity of material experts are in very valid categories, media experts with very valid categories, and linguists also with very valid category, (3) the results of the validity test of Pekanbaru City MAN teachers are in the very valid category, (4) the results of validity tests on students of MAN 1 Pekanbaru with very valid categories, while in students MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru only in the valid category. It can be concluded that the Economic Module Products that Produce MAN Problem Based Learning in Kota Pekanbaru.
