Analisis Sikap Dan Perilaku Konsumen Dalam Pembelian Produk Kerajinan Rotan Di Kecamatan Rumbai Kota Pekanbaru
Purchases made by consumers of rattan handicrafts are inseparable from factors that will influence decisions called consumer attitudes. Research on consumer behavior in purchasing rattan handicraft products is important in the context of marketing and product development. This study aims to determine consumer characteristics, analyze consumer attitudes in purchasing rattan handicraft products and analyze consumer behavior in purchasing rattan handicraft products in Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted at a rattan handicraft shop in Rumbai District, Pekanbaru. In this study, the population is consumers who have purchased rattan handicraft products in Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City, The sampling technique in this study uses Purposive Sampling techniques. The data used consists of secondary data obtained from BPS and primary data which includes consumer characteristics, assessment of the purchasing attributes of rattan handicraft products and purchasing behavior of rattan handicraft products. The results showed that the characteristics of consumers of rattan handicraft products are as follows: in the age category of respondents the most are in the range of 40-49 years. In consumers of rattan handicraft products, the largest level of education is in the Bachelor category. Consumer attitudes on purchasing rattan handicraft products are in the good category. The purchasing attributes of rattan handicraft products considered by consumers sequentially are product durability, product variety, product price, and store location of rattan handicraft product sales. There is one attribute that is not considered by consumers, namely the promotion of rattan handicraft products.
